About Us

Welcome to Chainsaw Training, a family run business based in Norfolk providing industry recognised training courses for ground and aerial based chainsaw use.

Whether you only use a chainsaw occasionally, or you work with them on a daily basis as part of your job, our range of training and qualifications reflects the latest industry requirements and legislation.

The courses are run by Andy Campbell, who is a Lantra Technical Standards Verifier and a City and Guilds approved Assessor.

Andy's passion and dedication to the industry has been recognised by world leading chainsaw manufacturer Husqvarna, who in 2016 offered him sponsorship and appointed him the title of UK Ambassador for forestry and made him an international "H-Team" member.

Andy has travelled the world working with loggers and felling trees on 5 of the worlds continents. Click here to view.

Training Courses News

For our work at height and chainsaw courses we have recently taken the decision to reduce the trainee/instructor ratio from the industry standard of a maximum of four to a maximum of two trainees. We believe this improves the quality of the learning experience by significantly increasing the instructor contact time with each trainee.
